This Privacy Policy describes how Circle Six Lab collects, uses, and shares information when you use Interest Calculator, our mobile application for Android and iOS that performs compound interest calculations on your device.
1.1 Information you provide in the app
The app processes information you enter to operate the calculator, such as principal amount, annual interest rate, length of time, and interest period settings. We use this information on your device to compute and display results. We do not operate this app to upload, store, or profile you based on those calculation inputs on our own servers.
1.2 Preferences
Settings such as language selection are used to present the interface. They are handled on your device as part of normal app operation and are not tied to a Circle Six Lab account in the current product design.
1.3 Advertising-related information
We use Google AdMob to show advertisements in the app. Google and its partners may collect and process technical and usage-related information, such as device and advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, and diagnostic data, for purposes including ad delivery, personalization where permitted, measurement, and fraud prevention. This processing is described in Google’s policies, including the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can manage certain advertising-related choices through your device and Google account settings.
We do not sell your calculation inputs. We share information with Google (including for AdMob) so that ads can be served and measured. Google may further share data with advertising partners according to its policies. We may also share information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Calculation inputs are processed on your device and are not maintained on our servers for that purpose. Data processed by Google and its partners is retained according to their retention practices and policies.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to a utility application. Data handled on your device depends on the security of your device and operating system. Data transmitted to Google or other partners is subject to their security measures, including encryption in transit where they apply it.
Interest Calculator is a general-purpose calculator and is not directed at children. Parents and guardians should supervise minors’ use of devices and accounts.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, such as rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because core calculation data is processed on your device and is not stored as a user account on our systems, some requests may be limited to what your device, the app stores, and Google’s tools allow. For advertising-related choices, use your device settings and Google’s ad controls.
Google and other partners may process information in countries other than your own. That processing is governed by their terms and applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date when we make material changes. Your continued use of the app after the effective date of an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy, unless applicable law requires a different process.
